New Sensory Garden and Polytunnel

We are so excited to announce that work will commence within the next fortnight of our new community growing gardens, refurbished polytunnel and our new state-of-the-art sensory space and outdoor classroom for the children of St. Mary’s to use.  The sensory space will cater for the needs of all learners with ample activities, calm areas and equipment to use.  Our thanks go to Mrs Rooney, school staff and the children of the School Council (2023 – 2024) for delivering this to the pupils.  We are also indebted to our PSG, the donation of £1000 from the ‘Wee Charity Shop Newcastle’ and another large donation from a local business group of £5000 who wish to remain anonymous.
