St Mary’s Primary School and Nursery Unit is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the highly prestigious Spirit of Catholic Education Award given by the Down and Connor Catholic Schools’ Support Service.
This honour recognises our school community’s deep commitment to living out the values of faith, compassion, respect, and service in everything we do. It celebrates the dedication of our pupils, staff, families, and wider Parish community, whose collective spirit helps make St Mary’s a place where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
We are incredibly proud to receive this award, which reflects the hard work, faith-filled ethos, and vibrant community life at the heart of our school and nursery unit. We particularly thank Mrs Harbinson for leading St. Mary’s through this award and we give further thanks to everyone who contributes each day to making St Mary’s such a special place.
The presentation of this award will take place in St. Mary’s University College, Belfast, in January.
